- Turn inside out: Turning the shirt inside out before washing helps the print last longer.
- Use a gentle cycle: Use a gentle cycle with a washing machine, or hand wash. Avoid high spin speeds, which can cause the print to fade or crack.
- Use mild detergent: Use a mild detergent designed for hand washing, and avoid fabric softeners. Fabric softeners can interfere with the adhesive used in DTF printing.
- Air dry: Air drying is preferred to extend the life of the print. If you do tumble dry, use a low cycle and avoid direct sunlight.
- Limit loads: Don't overload the washing machine.
- Wash with like items: Wash similar items together.
